• *A limiting factor that affects the execution of a project/program/portfolio/process. 

 

Examples:  ◦ Pre-defined budget, contractual provisions ◦ Labor union requirements ◦ Organization structure of the performing organization ◦ Preferences of the project management team (i.e. advocating structures that were successful in the past) ◦ Competencies of individuals available for the project etc.
