Titles are misleading. Same title can mean different things in different companies. Industry is relevant but try to diversify your career by working in multiple industries. Easier said then done.

More than the industry or the Job title finally the ROI what you can give to the assignment and the money you get in return + the Mutual satisfaction levels are more important.

All based on you present and future plans and aspirations including job location+ actual JD requirement of the employer.

Generally family pressures/requirements are also a part of these decisions.

For a Happy ending -you should get selected and the company should get the right fit.

Industry is more important to grow and improve yourself professionally among the others. However, the job title is important too to be better at something that you are good at.

I think the industry should be taken into consideration because it is important to work in an industry your familiar with or have a good knowledge about it.

Hi Sales is an art and should done in a passion.  Irrespective of your titile,  self learning and updation of connected industry makes you a versatile.  In early career, one should gain / develop knowledge in different industries, mixed culture which will give back up during Mid career period.  Also try to taste different taks in the same industry,  360 dgree approach (multi skill - task) which you can apply to any situation and industry.

The industry information should come first, as specificly such a position requires a technical background ( engineeering). Besides that, it is not actually about professionality, both recruiters and the ones looking for job opportunites check the industrial key words before than professionality.
