Rigid gas permeable lenses are the best option for moderate keratoconus since it cuts down the irregular corneal astigmatism which can cause poor quality of vision

First of all we can try a thick soft contact lens, if we don't reach the visus we must go on an RGP lens. Last choice scleral lens.

To manage keratoconus cases i will 1st start with RGP lens, if cone is larger i will go for Rose k Lenses. Patient with uncomfortable with cornel lenses we can try Scleral lenses.

i suggest  rigide LRG contact lens or soft hydrophilic contact lenses  based on quantity and quality of tears
