SOP stand for "Standard Operating Procedure".

Benefits:

*** Give directions, that how to perform certain tasks.

***  Help In Maintaining the quality of work.

***  Reduce the chances of mistakes.

*** Save time & help new employees to be familiar with work.

*** Customer satisfaction

This is the 'User manual' for the company. It should contain the procedures for all business activities. The SOP is the key to standardised business practices and the path to improvement.

Main goal of any process is to carry out specific activities in a particular fashion - smoothly, hazzel free and least scope for ambiguity. A proper design and continues review of a SOP would act as check and balance tool.

 SOP means standard operating procedures and its benefits are amense. As when these procedures are set we only have to do the implementation part and we have clear guidelines to follow.
