What is the difference between technical Files and Commercial Files? Or Which kind of Documents/Files goes to Technical Folder and Commercial Folder?

Technical files normally refer to those files containing technical information or data.They mostly use technical abbreviations or symbols which can be read a person with the specific knowledge apart from the ones in normal layman environment.Commercial Files refer to files which involve business documentation and terminologies which also use abbreviations or specific terminologies which are different from the files in technical terms.An example of technical file or document is a bill of quantity(abbreviated as BOQ) used in quantity survey while an example of commercial document or data is a bill of lading(abbreviated as BOL).

Documents which may go in technical folder include bill of quantity,material delivery report,work in progress report and damaged material report.Documents or files which may go to commercial foler include bill of lading,invoice,packing list,shipping order,booking for shipment report and bank payment slips or telegraphic transfer report. 

Technical files are for the actual physical details or quality aspects, whereas commercial deals with the financial value thereof.
