Do you think web tv could influence how we operate and or implement online marketing? Your thoughts

Web TV and internet TV are two different things though it may seem to be similar. Web TV is delivered through traditional websites such as youtube and there video sharing sites. Internet TV or IPTV is traditional TV delivered through a internet or phone line and does not use a browser but a set-up box connected through a PC.
From what i hear many broadcaster prefer the later but I know not much about its scope.
Web TV has great potential and particularly Youtube. Today there are more youtube videos being viewed compared to google searches. i think it exceeds by about half billion viewers. it means that in most cases your marketing strategy is incomplete without youtube which is the most important part of your web TV. Therefore the reach, benefits and implication of webTV is very large.
Yes, web TV/online marketing can influence a company.
