In high school, how can you convince a student who like to be a doctor about the importance of social studies?

To became a good doctor you first  need to know your patient for that you need to social first.if you want to be a social person you need to know your society first.so basically you need to study social science to being a good doctor.  

To be a doctor doesn't mean to know only about biology and human body.you must know that every word you are learning from school you are responsible of it. So to be a good doctor you should have the abiltity to comunicate with others and to know something even little of social study.Thus, without social studies you will not have good average so you must study them to achieve your goal.

I thing you can touch the humandidty sense to reach the your goal, they offen at this age cann't understanding but this is the chance for grow up  this scensing.

Such as if there is any body of them have trouble and what he espect from his friend and social group, he need their help how he expected from them.

 

Unlike MD, social studies degree prepares you for many careers in many fields: Social worker, Education administrator, Counselor, Event Planner, Teacher, Personal  adviser, Fundraiser  …… or Social service manager.

Ask them why do your want to be doctors ?they will reply to help people so tell them that social studies help us to choose the suitable ways to help people too.

Tell them, once you become a doctor you are going to treat patients who are a part of society. It is a must for you to know about their culture, laws of their country, their history, etc. For this, they need to learn social studies.
