Its depends where you chose to build your cloud. If its an on premise cloud, you can setup your security components (physical or virtual devices) on top of the cloud and if you choose platforms like AWS you can AMIs (virtual ) of security components and use them like your physical devices. This on high level. You have somany ways to build security on your cloud. I would suggest to start googling... :)

nothing is secured 100%, but as measured it is secured up 99% and for 1% is depending on your configuration and updates.

Yes, Cloud computing is quite secure. Cloud based applications hosted with providers such as AWS or Microsoft Azure normally have multiple levels of security for traffic coming in from the internet or the intranet of the specific application. From the internet, traffic is normally encrypted using SSL VPN which is terminated on an F5 ADC at the Datacenter. SSL Offloading will then be performed on the F5 devices. There will also be stateful firewalls on the path that will ensure that TCP/UDP sessions are monitored and that no malicious attacks are attempted.

Cloud computing is extremely secure. Just ask yourself: How safe is your company's data if it is hosted on premise and how safe are your data if hosted on a cloud provider. Providers are taking care of all possible hardware failures and environmental control, hosting your data in identical conditions. They also have 2 or more Disaster recovery datacenters and a complete failover plan in case of a major datacenter failure. Do you have the same precautions in your datacenter? moreover, all data are encrypted during upload, hosting and download.

It's not that easy question , as it could be sometimes YES and other's NO as the answer for considering Cloud Computing is Secured or NOT depends on many parameters and security measures that should be taken into consideration when Building the Cloud Computing Model , weather it's Public , Private or Hybrid ..
