In my opinion the worst of all is not being yourself in the interview. In general, an inappropriate body language comes from the fact that the candidate is nervous, missing confidence will always lead to bad body language impression.

My advice is: always be your true self and never be afraid of the possibility of being rejected after an interview.

As a recruiter, I'm impressed by a candidate who does not look for a way to market him/herself during an interview, because when you over market yourself, the employer will be setting higher expectations and if the candidate is not truthful about his abilities, this will lead to his/her termination.

Not mainlining a direct eye contact and giving answers in a shaky voice are probably the worst mistakes job seekers make during an interview. Other mistakes include fidgeting a lo in their seats , appearing too tense and frowning.

In my case, the worst body language is being stiff as a robot. Sure, you have arrived at an interview but honestly, you are not applying for hunger games; you came to an interview to let the interviewer know that you are confident enough to communicate with him. Now, I'm not saying that you are all buddy-buddy with each other; but at least relax your posture a little bit and balance both your auras of being formal and flirty,

Oh this can be a very lengthy list. Let's say some of these mistakes could be the applicant giving the interviewer a dead-fish handshake, or sitting in a slouching manner, or crossing his legs, or not making eye contact, and we can go on....
