Hi,

I would like to share my opinion for this Excellent question. Of course, the title that we advertise while branding works very well in the market. People's view towards a product or anything will be quality and cost effective oriented. So that a product in the market stands well in its wonderful packaging with attractive title strikes the people's mind to have a look on and if it meet their thought of requirements then surely seller can expect a sale over the moment. Everyone knows that there many sellers in market for a single purposed product. Among them the right products are there, still people will choose the branded and cost effective one which is so popular. Catch the people's eyes with fantastic branding words and packaging then success will be ahead.

If you sell and ship physical goods, your packaging is another one of these crucial, yet typically overlooked, touchpoints with your brand. It also sets up your brand, right from the beginning, as one that wants your customer to have a pleasant experience. Its purpose is to provide additional value for your customer as well as your business through the ability to create a memorable and sharable experience.

Indeed it is, although only within context to the product and if it is done stylishly and is simple to understand.

In most of the cases yes. It's a good option if you are using packaging but depends how you market your package.

I am sure you know that the answer is obviously YES.  Packaging is often the game changer, especially for consumer products.

By a number of researchers, evidences have been collected for customers making impulse buying decisions influenced by store environment and the attractive packaging.

Your product may not the best , the most desirable but your packaging may be, which often raises your brand to the top brands of the market.

Cheers!

It’s the most important technique; you can sell anything if packaged correctly including dirt.

This is a complex one. And the answer is usually DIFFICULT or IMPOSSIBLE. However, sometimes it is possible if cultural norm is imposed by forces outside the audience, or there is a chip in the norm already or the allure of forbidden fruit can be utilized. In any case it will differ from case to case and the decision has to rely on market research heavily (qualitative and quantitative). Hope this helps? On a particular question (clothes in SA, if there are no consequences for women wearing fashion clothes or for marketers of the clothes, and if there is a "hook" you can attach to in women's minds (do women see themselves more beautiful and attractive in traditional or fashion apparel, for instance) you might want to try. I would do it under the radar, not in your face, to avoid opposition and yet to allow for "movement" to spread among women. Thanx for addressing the question to me, I am enjoying answering them very much ;)

Hello

Although sometimes questions like this one usually portray an obvious answer, the answer is much trickier than anyone would anticipate.

The answer is: depends.  I believe some products don't need captions in their packaging due to their position in the market and how much brand value they have.  Take any perfume by, lets say, Gucci.  Now you tell me if a caption on the packaging is needed? They are trusted, known and don't need tell you anything.  Because you know them really well, you will ask the sales person to smell it.  If you see another perfume by a brand that you don't know at all, and it had a caption on it, would you bother to smell it? 9/10 times you wouldn't.

On-the-other-hand, lets look at cereal.  Takeyour pick and you will find captions almost on any side.  So having a caption on FMCG products can be a good idea.

So eventually, it depends on your product, brand and position in the market.

Hope this helps.
