subtractive colors are transparent our eye can see all colors which or print one top of one

And additive colors are opaque colors our eye can see an only top color that can't see two colors which can't print on top of one.

So always we use in multi color printing subtractive colors because when we print 4 color process there is CMYK Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black colors are print one on one so the 4 color is mixing and we looking many colors.

Subtractive means that one begins with white and ends with black.Refer to CMYK as we use in printing process.Additive Colour we refer to RGB, If you are working on a computer, the colors you see on the screen are created with light. Approximately, this is the reverse of the subtractive process – as more color is added, the result is lighter and ends with white. RGB and Hexidecimal system use an additive process.

SUBTRACTIVE COLOR.

When we mix colors using paint, or through the printing process, we are using the subtractive color method. Subtractive color mixing means that one begins with white and ends with black; as one adds color, the result gets darker and tends to black.

ADDITIVE COLOR.

If we are working on a computer, the colors we see on the screen are created with light using the additive color method. Additive color mixing begins with black and ends with white; as more color is added, the result is lighter and tends to white.
