Reporter and Photographer has different skill sets and job descriptions. The scope of both is very wide hence one person may not be able to do justice to both roles. Any news article becomes exponentially more interesting when supported by a good set of photographs. I believe it is important for different people to do different things in order to do complete justice to both roles.
