People believe that digital marketing techniques or SEO is a never ending concept, is this true?

Ooooh! YES! 

Digital Marketing Techniques are a never ending concept because of its inherent nature. Technology is a market which is the most dynamic and every second of every day we are enhancing our skill set and furthering the boundaries of exposure. Because of its inherent nature, the DM techniques keep on increasing and improving in depth and variety. 

Due to its constant evolution, the SEO and DM specialists need to be on their toes and highly trained about the latest trends so that they are if not above, then at par to the industry. 

That is true. However, digital marketing is never a one strategy that works for all. User behaviors are constantly changing due to advancement in consumer technology. These technological advancements will consider mobile, search engines, social media and web development.

If you can consider and consume all the answers provided by previous participants, you will gain a much broader picture of what is happening in the industry.

As Google updates its search engine more regularly SEO experts need to be informed regarding to these changes in time.

That is why SEO is not dead just evolving month by month. For example if your website get a penalty such as Penguin or Panda - SEO specialist need to analyze organic traffic drop and check backlinks, onsite issues, UX problems etc.

SEO is never ending.

Internet was founded in the 1980s and www came into being in 1990 and ever since the internet  is still evolving. From the oldest search engine Archie to Yahoo to ask jeeves and now to google & bing; the search engine indexing and related technologies are changing and so is the search engine of choice changing. 

From the current text based search things are evolving to voice based and image based searches. Therefore SEO will continue as long as www exist and for SEO professionals there is is never a full-stop only commas.
