SAP R/3 :-

R/3 stand for real time data processing and 3 stand for 3 architecture layer (presentation layer, application layer & development layer). SAP R/3 provide the capability to manage financial, asset, and cost accounting, production operations and materials, personnel, plants, and archived documents. The R/3 system runs on a number of platforms including windows and other client/server model.

 

SAP ECC 6.0 :-

SAP ECC6.0 is upgraded version for SAP ERP. It stand for ERP Central Component. SAP is upgrades their version periodically.

 

SAP S/4 HANA :-

 

SAP S/4 HANA is a business suite that is built on operational database system and database memory platform. Basically SAP S/4 HANA works on hardware as well as software.

SAP R3 is the old name of  SAP ECC 6.0. SAP R3 indicates the three layers which are 1. Presentation Layer 2. Application Layer and 3. Database Layer. SAP ECC 6.0 is the latest version of SAP R/3. As for as SAP S/4 HANA is concerned, it works on programming same like SAP ABAP, SAP Netweaver/Basis.
