After searching and see i found that there are three types of interlock they are mechanical , electrical Through the program of plc and preferably mechanical and electrical for programming because it may crash, what in the program, but it is best to use mechanical or electrical with Type III in order to confirm

Electrical , Mechanical , PLC program

better is mechanical

Mechanical, electrical and logical, Mechanical prevents operating by mechanical force. Electrical prevents operating by keeping the circuit open. Logical prevents operating by conditions in you software.

Both electrical and mechanical are strong. But you can’t depend on one type of interlock, you have to combine between two types or more.

the interlocks are very important componants in industrial safty and their  first used in railway of trains and for their types mechanical and electrical and software pased pc or plc  and the best one is the mechanical , also we can use all of them together in one machine or industrial line or big safty box in banks

CONTACT (compact mechanical - Rotary and hinged - Guard locking) NON CONTACT ( magnitic - fiber optic )An interlock switch is a means of safeguarding that monitors the position ofa guard or gate. The interlocking of a guard is used to shut off power, controlaccess, and prevent the machine from starting when the guard is open.Advantages The guard contains ejected materials• Provides access for maintenanceand repair• Initial installation can be low-costLimitationsMaintenance issues may be expensive• Provides limited access• Poor ergonomics• Expensive to achieve higher levels ofsafety

It is not an issue of which one is strong. Both Electrical and Mechanical interlock can play a usefull role as per scheme design or certain project specifications requirement. Each is a back-up of the other and are fully coordinated. When elctrical fail to function for its intended function then, mechanical will back-up as the last recourse. Oftentimes, elctrical will be dependent on mechanical action. Meaning, electrically can not be operated without satisfying the mechanical pre-set condition and or vice versa, depending on how interlock was schemed and designed.
