How to answer ; What if you work here for five years and don't get promoted? Many of our employees don't. Won't you find it frustrating?

Is this answer could be best for such a difficult question?

A: I consider myself ambitious, but I'm also practical. As long as I am continuing to learn and grow within my position, I'll be a happy camper. Different companies promote people at different rates, and I'm pretty confident that working for you will keep me motivated and mentally stimulated for several years to come.

The Organization is the first and the last concern , the top management takes decisions in the organization to realize its strategy and objectives.Rest everything is secondary.

Therefore working in an organization for five years is a significant period of time and above all not getting promoted is indeed frustrating for any normal human being. We work to achieve personal and organization goals.Getting promoted and becoming eligible for better pay and benefits is one of the objectives behind career progression. But many times people do not get promoted either because the next step is already occupied i.e not available or the organization does not have distinct career development strategy in place its employees.

Therefore it is your time to rediscover yourself and move onto a better opportunity.
