You will know you are fit for teaching, when you find the joy in it, touching the students life, and you are also learning from. teaching is not just the for the mind but also for the heart.
First of all you have to love the field, then you have to be organized , dynamic and open-minded person. You must have a self-confidence, and you must have the ability to represent and explains concepts simply and clearly. And last but not least, he/she must be the quality person not the quantity one.
As such bragging is said to an uncivilized act but since I have been asked to tell, so I would rather say that helping is a trait which has been infused in me due to my upbringing and therefore my second nature. Initially, I did not choose to be a teacher but being the child of teacher parents I had a soft corner for this profession and after a long stint with the engineering career I found that I was lacking job satisfaction. Thereafter, I slowly groomed my self to be a teacher after doing the education degree. Now I have been in this profession for the last 14 years and I am quite satisfied with what I am doing. This profession has been symbiotic because I feel a wholesomeness when I come across my ex-students and see them flaring in the various field. Perhaps, I am born to be in this profession.
I know I am a teacher with good methods and techniques because my experience in the field showed positive results. I tend to teach using engaging and motivating activities. I focus on the team building and family spirit in my classroom that, for sure, lead students to appreciate working in groups. I always tend to make my teaching learners' centered.
If you and the students around you notice only the positive results of your teaching and educational work, you and they are very motivated and receive great satisfaction from this process, so the teacher is your calling.
Teaching is an inborn talent. Only those who are endowed with a passion to teach from their heart can reach their students and make a difference.
Gaining an accredited certificate from a university can never make of a person a ready teacher. You can only be ready when you feel that deep thirst of helping and guiding pupils and when such thirst can solely be quenched by teaching.
Teaching and training is not a job, it is a character and lifestyle ... the ability to convey knowledge and changing people's lives forever is the highest achievement man can do. it is a joy and honor. This is how I feel about what I do and I know for sure this is my life.
It perfectly fits into the moulds of my ideal job. It is a profession which is not only a receiver but a giver too. As a receiver it will receive my hardwork beyond my capabilities but as a giver it will be an ocean of knowledge for me.
Teacher's profession is completely similar to that of an architect's. Just as an architect designs a building and builds its foundation upon which depends the strength, durability and quality of a building, a teacher builds the foundation of a child’s future by guiding him a correct path to walk upon. Teaching doesn’t only confined to books and notebooks, but it means to teach the technique of judging correct or wrong.
I feel that I possess these qualities to be a teacher.
I'm fortunate to be able to say I have voluntarily taught English as a second language to adults my entire life. It's a thoroughly rewarding experience.
when I feel the every student is satisfied when I tech any single topic
