In order for a project to be successful, the project management team must:1) choose appropriate processes that are required to meet the project objectives.2) Apply a defined approach to adapt the product specifications and plans to meet project and product requirements.3) Comply with requirements to meet client needs, wants and expectations.4) Balance the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk to produce a quality product.
all the mentioned below are PM process groups not processes. however, i think the question is very generic and a little bit confusing. there are alot of processes in project management falls under the mentioned process groups and no room to list them all here

Planning
Executing
Monitoring and controlling
closing
The project management process are:1- Initiating,2- Planning,3-Executing,4- Monitoring and controling,5-Closing.
Process are:1- Initiating,2- Planning,3-Executing,4- Monitoring and controling,5-Closing within scope / time /cost / quality
- Project inception and prepare the project charter approved by management and the customer.
- Project team building
- Project planning incorporating risk management, change management, & quality management
- Project execution
- Project closure
The project management process is the management of planned change, directing all
elements of the project through a defined cycle, where each stage marks a change in the project’s complexity, speed of activities and the resources employed as the project proceeds, the purpose of each stage should be to enable the next one to proceed.
It begins from studying the project specification and terms& condition of contract.

2_ Planning
3_Executing
4_ controlling &observing, Monitoring
5_Closing
but in overall i must begining by studying to all of the project,s specifications, targets & requirements

all the contract,s sections & statuss
