Supply Chain Manager has to play a critical role internally among the "Sales" to generate the demand AND "Operations" to produce or available the product or service timely & smoothly which may actually required. As well as externally among the "Customer" who is user want a right product on right price AND "Company" who needs more business and desiring sustainable growth with huge margins.
That is correct. Supply Chain Manager serves as the point person between the producer and the company as well as between the company and the customers.
Always updated with the quality and availability of the supply as well as the demands of the market.
Supply Chain Manager is the rel linchpin in any industry. He keeps the whole process functioning.
As a Supply Chain Manager, one has to bridge the gap internally (from Manufacturing/ Sourcing to Operations and Sales) as well as externally (Customers and Company).
He is working as the orchestrator since his activities will meet on-demand senario with real time and cost efficiency.
Operations- Production is reinforced by sales. That means if sales are not recorded, revenue is not generated, indicating that customers patronage has reduced and this affects the company's chances of improved profitability. Therefore, SCM is an active link which ensures that all processes, procedures and systems are put in place to effectively link up all relevant stakeholders to work together and guarantee organizational success.
Thanks
I am with your opinion and say SC is the bridge between all mentioned parties

supply chain serves a very important role in any organisation
In my opinion, Supply chain manager role is a foundation of a good quality of manufacturing goods/supply that may be leads for customer satisfaction and Must be the leader of effective and efficient operations.
It takes quite a high level on entrepreneurial instinct to allow a supply chain manager to succeed in my opinion, it takes time, effort and hefty relationships, as well as outreach capability
That is true.Operations make products ready and sales generate revenues which facilitate smooth operation of any plant. Therefore, good customer relationship must be maintained
