Being a Safety professional, how do you correct an unsafe act/condition, if the supervisor is not ready to comply and instead giving some reasons?

I will hear his point of view, then I will instruct him for the correction and be clear that it is not acceptable to repeat the unsafe condition.

Whenever an unsafe act/ condition exist then the activity must be halted asap otherwise an untoward event might occur. Carry out an investigation and if the supervisor is not in compliance then that act will be included in the investigation report. make recommendations then submit the report to the management. Management must intervene to correct the supervisor.

follow the three procedures if  person not comply with HSE rules and regulation        1.you should warning by verbal to concern supervisor  (First warning))

 2. issue the warning letter to him and make non-compliance report that submit to project manager or HSE manager ( final warning)

 3. issue the violation that penalty or site suspend (violation)
