One might argue that flawlessness is what makes a book a masterpiece, however I don't actually agree with this argument. I personally believe that uniqueness is what renders anything -not only books-, a masterpiece.

What makes me view a book as a work of art, is its ability to offer its readers with one of a kind experience; making readers feel like they are part of this book, using a distinctive language and a writing style and producing mind blowing ideas and concepts.

What makes a book a masterpiece? Universality of emotions, a deja vu feeling as if you already know it and it has happened with you, natural and easy association with characters in the novel/short story,,,are some of the ingredients that set make a book a masterpiece!!
