European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) is an excellence award model that is nowadays used as a guide to TQM implementation. Evidence has been collected confirming that EFQM supports TQM as operational framework.

TQM could be an introductory topic to non-professionals in Quality Assurance & Excellence models its generalizing those methods with introducing tools and techniques. However, EFQM cascades the levels from L2E as a startup course all through to Assessor or validator level. in both topics anyone could obtain and digest the info however, in my eyes EFQM makes easier to be applicable at any level and gives you the other eye to see things differently and as in one cycle and of course how to link it to the whole process either vertically or horizentally

In my opinion, TQM and EFQM are two models created to achieve operational excellence in any management system.

Thanks for invitation and sorry for late response

I see TQM as a philosophy, concept, or alike but EFQM is more like application / implementation of different quality concepts including TQM.
