Firstly prepare an assessment report and identify the area of concern then provide training as per the specification of the report

Thanks for the invitation, here is my opinion :

The HR should :

  1. If the damage has already been done the simply an identification of weak spots followed by a comprehensive training plan.
  2. If it's likely to cause a damage then " Training Need Assessment" should be carried out by various methods like employee interview, questionnaire, supervisor feedback, QC data & unobtrusive data lying in exit forms etc.
  3. Next course of action would be apparent once the analysis is over.

Hope this helps.

A common factor that leads to poor quality products definitely shows that the quality controls and measures towards staff training, capibilities and productivity implemented are not effective. To correct this a detailed audit of the quality of production and current staff competencies should be done. This might lead to the retraining or replacing of staff-members that do not meet standards. To avoid this in future, production management should implace quality control inspections at all stages of the production line to maintain consistant quality production.

Materialized using QC tools -DMAIC-DEFINE- MEASURE-ANALYZE-IMPROVE-CONTROL...together with process trainings, in this situations you will be able to tackle and filter the issues and how skilled of your staff are....Poor standards doest comes from the Staff only it considers MAN-MACHINE-MATERIAL-ENVIRONMENT.

A detailed TNA must be conducted followed by useful trainings to bridge the performance gaps.
