Power engineering, also called power systems engineering, is a subfield of energy engineering and electrical engineering that deals with the generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of electric power and the electrical devices connected to such systems including generators, motors and transformers.
A power system comprises of power generation, power transmission, power distribution, and electrical devices connected like generators, transformers, motors, switch gears, etc.
The alternative name of power system is hard disk.a lot of materials are in a hard disk. suppose to say RAM, ROM Motherboard etc.
An electric power system comprises of installations that produce electrical energy and transmit this energy to consumers. Major components are:
1) Generating Units
2) Power transformers
3) transmission lines
4) substations
5) distribution lines
6) distribution transformers
