Thanks
As one of Leadership science fans, i vote for EQ ( Emotional Intelligence ), since it contains some emotional treating for management issues, which required from Leader to be success.

Neither.
Both are constructs. IQ has been thoroughly discredited and neither has any application to the real world.
What is true is that if you are smart and / or good at getting along with people, you are more likely to have a successful career. For a few, very specific roles, one is indeed more important than the other, but in general both are required.
A balance of IQ and EQ will be more successful
I think Self-awareness is the essential building block to develop this critical competency in our career and just self-examine yourself with following questions:
I firmly believe both are equally important to become a "real leader" as well as "best performer"!
For real and sustainable success, it is important for an individual to have a superior IQ as well as EQ.
PS: Thanks for inviting me to answer this thread!
I believe that all forms of intelligence are necessary to be successful in a professional setting. Emotional Intelligence is a derivative of overall intelligence which has to do with our ability to socialize, or rather conduct business engagements in this case, in a manner that is conducive to relationship building. This means being able to be objective as well as perseptive toward other people's values and cultural belonging.
Thank you for invitation. I supper colleagues give answer, also looking forward new answe
both of them are important
Hello
I would say IQ is more appropriate.
You can never disregard any of them no matter what;IQ can start but can never complete he task of being efficient.
