Is the ability to implement a long-term beneficial strategy more important than the ability to continuously and if needed radically innovate?

I don't think that you can implement a long term strategy without innovating and changing some aspects of it.

Stability of a plan only comes with stability of the economic climate it is working in. If the climate changes, then so does the plan.

That is not saying that the vision has changed, just the plan on how to get there.
