 I think jQuery  is the most useful javascript framework that's helping the web designer,nowadays vanilla.js,vue.js is and react.js is the most popular javascript framework.

My experience is restricted to jQuery and Meteor, but if you consider only the number of features you find jQuery and Ext JS more rich.

Angular JS 2, but that's not for beginners to web Dev.

there are many powerful javaScript framworks today, but the most useful for web designing in my opinion is REACTJS, i know it's just a labrary but it's becoming powrful as a framwork and as we can see there are so many big sites have been builed with ir such as facebook, instegram...

Angular 2.0 which helps in better mobile development,modularity,class based object oriented programming and helps in better way of debugging.

For small web application Jquery but for a large application, I will prefer Angular2.x because coding is very easy are very easy to maintain and debug.
