Marketing efforts have several purposes but the most important 2 are:

- create the necessity for a product or service when it doesn't exist

- and to reinforce it when it exists

Perception can be improved by trying to be the best in what we offer, accept mistakes or problems and find the way to repay it if it ever occurs with a customer.

Very important is also the harmony of the employees. If a client has direct contact with the company and perceives the good relationships between the providers of the product/service it feels more comfortable.

But as any other aspect of Marketing this also has many sides and solutions  and this page won't fit all. :)
