The system should be designed and developed to properly monitor the health of the system by creating Alarms, indication infield as well as Alarms on DCS (Distributed Control System), so that operator can know exactly about the fault and can call maintenance persons to resolve it.

Field monitoring through Light indications / buzzers as well as monitoring in DCS room (through communication of control system to DCS Room).

As far has controlling is concerned, redundant system should designed so that in case of failure of one processor/PLC (primary) the secondary processor will take the responsibility in runtime (bumpless transfer), so that there will not any production lost.
