diamond different than graphite in crystalline and hardness
diamond is first hardness of the minerals
r
Diamond and Graphite both are allotropes of carbon. Diamond is crystalline in nature due to its strong inter-molecular structure and graphite is amorphous in nature.
The difference in the crystallographic system which the graphite have a weakness pound between the carbon atoms because it formed under low pressure but the diamond have the strongest pound formed under high pressure so the internal distance between the atoms are so close to break it.
DIAMOND IS COMPOSED OF CARBON BUT EXPOSTED FOR LONG TIME TO HIGHT TEMPRETURE AND PRESSURE THUS BEING IN THE FORM OR DIAMOND
