For manufacturing Business based on my experience & knowledge the best  ERP are - SAP & Baan or LN, But as I know infor LN or Baan is more strong  in manufacturing sector & it is also less cost than SAP since in infor LN licence given by user while in SAP it will be given by session as I know.

For manufacturing business the best ERP is SAP. As SAP is very customizable and can be mend into any type of process. Often in industry people does not get desired result from SAP that is because of during implementation SAP core team tend to do adopt shortcut instead of detail working to complete their task on time. I have used both SAP and Oracle ERP

What is ‘best’ will be determined by matching what your business requirements truly are, versus where the different programs excel.

This is depend on manufacturing business type. if a garments run SAP then it is not affectable becouse of lot of working process not follow the constant rules. in this case Customised ERP is the best.

If it is accsories Business SAP and other built in ERP also not working in this trade, here also need to customised ERP.
