Each of us has a certain routine in their job and certain job tasks. What would it take for you to start considering leaving your job in your current role?
- When I reach the highest level of performance doing my routine and ordinary job, I will ask for a promotion to an advanced role within my department, if this get rejected I will quit.
- When I make sure that I am undervalued compared to people within the same industry, I will ask for a raise to match, if this get rejected I will quit.
- When i make sure that I am in the same position technically and professionally as I were 5 years ago, I will try to change that by asking for advanced training, if this get rejected I will quit.
The most important thing to consider, is whether it's true or if it's just a feeling, some people feel less compensated, while in real life situation they are on the industry average.
It also important, to never quit a job without a plan or a next job.
When your immediate supervisor starts taking reports directly from your subordinates.
If company not giving enough attention on my part to the company.
If i dont have a chance to promote after a decent time period i will decide to switch my job to better organisation.
When I find that I can't add anymore value to my company
Only when I recognize that I have nothing more to give or If I am not an added value to my company.
If i am no longer challenged in my position and have tried communicating with the management to no avail,.
Thank you for the invitation
Agreed with colleagues
When work becomes mundane, when projects start but die-down for want of budget/ approvals, when scope for work creativity takes a hit and lastly, when it is about time to try something new! :-)
WHEN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT REASON OTHERWISE STAY...
When I feel that I am already neglected by the organization despite displaying an excellent performance.
