Hi everyone, I graduated with an MSc. in Corporate finance from Cass Business School in January and passed CFA level one december exam and contemplating taking level2 in June. I am always looking for ways to enhance my learning in the dynamic world of Finance and to improve job prospects. I have never worked on SAP before but have a lot of technical knowledge in Finance&accounting. I would appreciate some clarification on whether the SAP FICO training would add great value to my profile and job prospects.
Any additional training is always useful in today's day and age. Having said that SAP FI CO is exceptionally useful as it can not only give you skills at end-user usage of SAP but also brush up your accounting principles and concepts. Ensure the autehenticity of the institue you do the training at and the kind of certificate you'll get if you're doing it at an institute. The official SAP exam is the best thing to do but that can cost you around 400-500 US$.
FICO is one of the imporatant module for the Accounting and finance department to create Budget estimates , capatil expenditure etc. It will add value if you do the MM module with FICO
YES IT ADDS VALUE IF YOU LOOKING FOR THE JOB AT SUPER USER LEVEL
yes, it will add value for freshers. You cann't compare application software with MBA or CFA. As each has its own merits.
