Well i think after being shortlisted and called for the interview there are at least 4-5 candidates that closely match the opening and thus they are being called in for further interviewing and evaluation.Consequently , this means they possess the knowledge, skills , abilities and experience that is required to be successful on that job. What the resume does not portray is your personality and personality traits , therefore you must go in there with confidence , self belief and in depth research about the company you are going for an interview.

Most of the candidates including the recruitment professional when going for an interview we all have the habit of just focussing on the job-related competencies and we do not want to take out the time to research the organization , what is the mission of that company ? what industry is it in ? What markets do they serve ? and many such related questions.
