The factors and features that can be considered as essentials for the effective working of each part of the H&S management systems are:
a) An organization should have a define H&S policy within the scope of its business and work. The H&S policy will serve as the rudder of the businesses as a whole entity so that a clear expectation towards a goal of the company in line of safe and proper execution of procedures.
b) It is very important that the hierarchy of management down to the subordinates understands clearly their participation in the implementation of H&S management of the company by defining their capabilities and responsibility towards everybody including clients as well.
c) A corroboration and understanding of the health and Safety plan and its procedures of the flow and implementation of the adhered standard in the execution of activity and system flow of delivery.
d) Measurement, inspections and monitoring is paramount in order to size up the effectiveness of the plans and procedures implemented in the company.
e) Discussion of the outcome of the inspection and monitoring regarding the learning improvement and gap identified during implementation. The opportunity of improvement based in the findings is necessary so that the company will be have a better understanding of how the procedure will be improve for the better.
f) Review and evaluation shall take place after the discussing the findings or gap identified. Revision of the necessary procedures or measures including the H&S policy in order to balance and maintain company's goal towards its business as well as H&S management system implementation.
