loyalty to the group not to a person...
if your boss wants to leave, don't leave with them but keep in touch.
then be loyal to the company you are working for.
Thanks
No offense, but it is from stupidity, we work for work not for people , and if we need to talk about loyalty so let keep our relation with boss- leader even he-she is out of our work
You are not working for the boss but the company. Stay on and keep contributing................
Work does not vary by the people, but when it is a personal matter then the change is a must
See why your boss is leaving so that you may know. You should have reasonable knowledge to leave with your boss. Check if there is better chance leaving with the boss. If not, be loyal to your boss without leaving.
Thanks for invitation,
Agree with the answer of Mr. Omar Saad, as it is "not studied", but of course "unreasonable" decision to resign from your job or move to another job, just to be with your boss !!!
I believe we should be loyal to our Jobs not our bosses. People come & go but the job is there to stay.
Me not leaving with my boss doesn't mean I'm not loyal to him. we all have our priorities.
First of all in any organisation the main driver who takes us on our professional journey is the boss, on the other hand we should have our integrity towards the company we work, we should do our duties towards our company with full contribution. If my boss is good team-builder has good leadership skills, successful & proactive & if he considers me to join him in his new company I will definitely follow him.
Their is a saying a bad company with good boss is better than good company with bad boss.
My answer is simple, leave with your boss if leaving will set you to achieve your goals and stay if it's the opposite.
Simple
It is wrong to try to leave with your boss.and your boss is not worth it if he did not advice you to stay and he should of taught you this before if he was a good boss. your loyalty to him should end as soon he stop being your boss and you can be his good friend out side work .your loyalty to the company which pays you .not to the person who manage you.
The loyalty must always be with the company but if you have valid reasons why you are leaving with your boss then why not? If this change would provide a better opportunity then by all means go. As long as you have performed your duties well. On another note, if the boss even considers you to come with him/her then you must be an employee with good performance.
