Most people believe that surveying is only restricted to fieldwork construction site, but there are lot more fields which you can use surveying same way as construction site, what are these fieldworks?

The Term survey stands for Land Survey as per the ancient history. The Land Survey can be divided into many subdivisions. Approximately15 divisions are there.

 

Now the different types in Construction Related Surveys are following. The first4 are quantitative or design related. And the last one is the field survey which is directly connected with the construction.

  2. Hydrography
  3. Geotechnical
  4. Land Survey
  5. Stake Out

All other Branches can be next under these main divisions.

 

Now the term survey is using by various disciplines.
