end capped columns are regenerated columns with treatment with some meterials according type of the coumns, ex: column treatment with trimethyl selanes. this is called column regenration process/column endcapping to activate the Stationary phase in the Coumn, which is increase the efficiency of the column. this is the differance between normal column and endcapped columns.
