Personally & bluntly Speaking I rather like strict teachers neither lenient because both our bad & good at times. This world is full of people and every body has its own personality traits as well as way of understanding. Secondly, teaching is not about to be strict or lenient also, its only & only about spreading knowledge with full clarity & understandable to the less interested individual too. I always emphasis that teachers rather than imposing duties upon children or students should enhance the interest & attention of students first in their like ways. The student should feel excited when the teacher enters the class that's a teacher is all about.
In other words a 'Teacher' is the one who has 100 ways to answer a single question without any irritation always keeping a smile.
Neither of them, of course both of them have strong and weak points, but a balance teacher is what students need. In addition to knowledge, they have to plant confidence, respect and sharing in their students, they have to encourage students to ask, debate and participate, and they have to prepare them to face the real world.
Strict teacher is always work for students achievment and growth.
Strict teachers are those that are ideal because they have the courage to be tough and at the same time gives the best lessons. They are also the one who teaches the students to have their discipline.
I prefer strict teachers because they are the one who has the most discipline in life and they want the students to gain respect like them.
If I need to choose it would be a strict teacher, although the best way would be a strict and lenient teacher depending on the topic being taught and student response to teaching methods.
A trict teacher that teaches me good
First, I am a strict teacher. Second, I am lenient. Third, it depends upon us teachers. Learning takes place whichever personality we portray. Just enough.
I used to have strict not to say severe teachers back then, but they were the one's from whom I learned the most. As an instructor today, I tend to manage both, the carrot and the stick knowing when I need a stick to push the class towards getting the carrots. At the end they always ask for more and that's my reward!
A good teacher always maintains the gap with students so that can easily fill the communication gaps.
A well thought of and moderate, need based practical classroom teaching approach is required by a teacher now a days. One must have to provide for all learning differences and employ multiple intelligences in dealing with a group or groups of multicultural and multilingual students, in a most possible professional way to enhance the learning faculties of the learners.
