I would like to share my point view. If we need to talk about the daily tasks, I would say the production manager should be aware of some important tasks but are not limited. I would go to list them below
First of all, he or she should understand the general plan that the company has put to achieve the goals. then he or she should follow
1/ reviews the data reports of the previous day, might there was pending work need to be completed
2/ update the project plan for the work, might there is some needs to increase or decrease in the production
3/ monitoring and controlling the work process
4/ solves the production issues
5/ understanding the financial factors that impact the production like increase or decrease the laborers, training the laborers, adding automation system if needed.
6/ sends the daily report
Production manager is accountable for the quality and quantity of goods which is getting manufactured, he has a great role to play, to manage and segregate each and everybody task by not hampering the companies profit and name.
