TIPS

e.g A SIMPLE DESIGN FOR A BUILDING WITH D FOLLOWING DETAILS:

1. BEDROOM1

2. BEDROOM2

3. SITTING ROOM.

4.KITCHEN.

(A) INSTALL  A SMOKE DETECTOR FOR EACH EACH OF D ABOVE ROOMS WITH HEAT DETECTOR IN D KITCHEN .

(B) NAME OR ZONE EACH ROOM i.e

1. BEDROOM1-          ZONE1

2. BEDROOM2-          ZONE2

3. SITTING ROOM.-    ZONE3

4.KITCHEN.-                ZONE4

(C) INSTALL A4- ZONE FIRE ALARM PANEL IN THE SITTING ROOM.EACH ROOM  ON FIRE WILL BE SEEN ON D PANEL.

(D) INSTALL A FIRE EXTINGUISHER AT D ENTRANCE DOOR.

 AND AT KITCHEN DOOR.

(E) INSTALL A FIRE ALARM BELL IN THE SITTING ROOM AND OUTSIDE D HOUSE.

Designing is a process. Based on your question it can't be answered clearly not unless you have provided more details like no of floors, floor area, where to installed the pumps (is it on basement or in the roof of somewhere in the middle floor of the building. A lot of details need to be considered before we can come up with our design.
