in my opinion it depends on adminstrative distance

u cant select wich protocol is the better

every protocol has advantages and disadvantages for example eigrp has back up route but it supports cisco only

but u can select the best route through adminstrative distance

When selecting a routing protocol, it is imperative to have a full understanding as well as specific needs for scalibility, resource usage and speed of convergence. For large scale networks, its hard to say that there is one protocol that will suffice the entire need, because there are networks that are added all the time and you need to improvise.

The best that I have seen is a combo of two EIGRP/BGP or OSPF/BGP, the reason you might opt for one over the other is EIGRP is vendor specific, if you want/have Cisco all the way its best, but OSPF provides multi-vendor capabilities. OSPF also works great with frame relay and point-to-point connections. With the present network moving to provider based MPLS many of the providers standardize on either static routes into the MPLS cloud(not very dynamic as any new LAN subnets would have to be added to the VRF tunnels by the provider before they can transverse the MPLS cloud) or BGP. Because the customer edge router (CE) is only peering to the provider for routing updates between its other CE routers, the BGP configuration is usually VERY simple and therefore the best method.

BGP/EGP is the best routing protocal for a large company or that has international branches.

BGP is the best protocol along with OSPF (redistributed into BGP). in aarrow-x.png standard Telecom/LAN environment  the  static customer routes/subnets can be redistributed into OSPF for a particular circle/Region  then integrated into the Pan Circle BGP Cloud. MPLS can also be used for content propagation monitoring.now since EIGRP is made platform independent EIGRP with BGP is prefered.

the routing protocol is provide the best path or shortest path to transfer the data.

the most trusted protocol is static routing protocol because this protocol manually one by one provide admin value or gateway any one of router is must be define but it is not work large company default routing protocol or ospf routing protocol
