I started working as a HVAC technician5 years ago. I would like to know the latest updates in HVAC industry. Like Electronic air cleaners, energy efficient refrigerants etc.

I am working in Research and Development in HVAC. I handle mostly minisplit product or household aircond. The trend I can say, still on power consumption i.e how to minimize electricity. This is mostly for developing country. Secondly, on the refrigerant used. Currently, a new regulation is set up on the refrigerant to be used. So, you can look on the studies about refrigerant. Thirdly, the trend s also focusing on ionizer which enhance air quality.
