If that happens, remain cool. Because, a good teacher is recognized by 59 out of 60 students. If you haved behaved good to all, it is shame on the student and not on you. In your absense, may be other students make him realise. Else that's why there is a word called Deserve. Be humble and polite, remember...teachers are the lights, not shadows. Thanks

teaching needs a lot of patience and understanding to those students mood and behavior, that's why one of the main goals of teaching is to change their wrong behavior, if that happened to me I will give them a short break then I talked to that student privately. afterward, I will then ask him/her to apologize for what he did in front of all.

My first, that is, instinctive reaction would be to get angry with the student. Only after cooling down will I resort to other saner and more plausible method, that is, to grasp the reasons behind the behaviour. In general, no student disrespects a sincere and long-known teacher (a new teacher is prone to be disrespected and s/he has to deal with the situation at a different level). If someone does, there must be a strong reason for it. I will find it out and set the things right if it is my fault, or if it is student's fault and he doesn't see it, I'll make all efforts to make him realize his fault.

If one of the student behavior such that, it must to be a patience to reach to correct way to aviode that from the other students, unless the quation means that some puplis insiste to exict and not respect the teacher, this situation need to be more resonable, you can requist  help from the administration office which is responsible to takle this problem.

Your question strikes a chord. For me,as a Muslim teacher who was raised in a Muslim community which respects and values teachers and sometimes looks on them as "sacred prophets", I would not tolerate disrespect. I think such a behaviour would be a scary alarm that something really detrimental is taking place to the community as a whole and not only to the school. I have no doubt that all teachers are straining every sinew to provide their students with the best education, so ungratefulness is the worst reward I could think of!

I know that there might be some students who could be experiencing certain family problems, or there might be certain times when the students are bored or lackadaisical, but this just doesn't give them an excuse to disrespect the teacher. These problems can be addressed and dealt with by an experienced social worker or by engaging activities but not with disrespect.Indeed, parents, teachers, decision makers, and people in authority should share the responsibility of instilling this tenet of respecting and valuing teachers in the minds and hearts of our students before we start searching for strategies and ways just to save face!

at the beginning of the school's year, the teacher have to read the files of his children, to know their differences and to understand their need so ha can build a respect relationship with them as a strategy that should help a teacher to react easily with the students and to manage the class and the bad behaviors.

you are a teacher that used noble moral and language when talking to the students and you you cooperate with highly respect with them . in the past time, teachers  were students too, and knew most of the game or the bad behavior a students can do that made him ready to react against (disrespect)

a respectfully teacher can only come forward the student, looking eyes and with a friendly smile, he can ask him calmly: why do you do this or say this? you know very well how much i respect you and everybody in the class, so why did you do this?...

one solution is handling disrespectful students with calmness and dispassion and not taking it personally will decrease the likelihood of it happening again. But there are other things you to do to create an atmosphere of respect in your classroom wish are rules for the class to follow.

Disrespectful behavior is examples of behavior that would warrant an immediate time-out separation from the rest of the class and, more than likely, a letter for parents.

First of all, my reaction depends on the situation itself . But let's say clearly that , what the student did is a result to hidden causes. These causes may be the teacher's himself, the classroom environment or the student himself. So a good teacher who can control his reaction not to behave to beat the student and announce about your strong character . A teacher should face the wrong situation immediately in a relaxed way. Then , he should deal with the causes of the problem later.he should study the portfolio of the student . He can ask his older teacher about him . finally , he can call the student in his office to deal with him in an efficient way.

Hi, first of all I hadn't face anything like this before, If it happens, I will try to be calm, understand why this behavior has been shown, try to accept the student and to talk to her after the class and if the attitude was unacceptable, I will refer her/him to the counselor to talk with her/him.

Thanks for invitation. A good teacher by all means will not face such a situation from his students of all level. A student who might have done ignorantly such, then we should not get angry and we should politely deal in such a way that the particular student to realise it and all other students should learn a lesson from this.
