Hello all, I am a project manager on a large scale project. As to the question that one is not treated well by the PM team, it is crucial at the start of the piece to determine the possible reasons that one feel "not treated well". Some possible questions that one could ask oneself is whether one is too sensitve. On the other end of the spectrum, I may have just joined the project management team and therefore may not have come to know everyone just as everyone else need time to get to know me.
There are a phletora of reasons that one may feel so but if we keep to the facts and exercise the PM discipline. in time our colleagues in the PM team would come to know us better and hopefully respect us as a PM professional. At the end of the day, it is we who will need to take the initiative to 'break the ice', so to speak and once that is done, the relationship will develop over time.
I hope that helps without dwelling too deeply into the pyschological side of human behaviour... :-)
if the team is working good and get the work done in time and perfectly ,then i am agood manager
and i am handeling the project and the team so will , no need to be loved , just do your work ,when the team see you lead them will and you solve all their problem there is no reason to to unrespect you ,
but if i do all of that and still unfiarly treated and unrespected ,i need to talk to each member
speritly not to talk about the way he treat me, but to made good commuincatoin and give him feel that he is a special team member,this is just for exampel and every case had its conditoin
with strong personalty and good treat to all the team you can gain their respect.
Project Manager should have a strong experience in dealing with all people at all levels in our work place, so if I am in that suituation, from my point of view i wll not answer by words but i will reply in my self confidence with my ethics and good manner and be sure that i didnt make and mistake in my work.
But if management team deal with me in bad manner , i will not accept that and take attention of them to talk in good manner to handle communication and continue meeting.
take a challenging job and do it as fast as possible with all its quality,and stand in front of the managment provdily they will give a good value to u
As a Project manager,one will always find self in difficult scenarious.The best skill a project manager can use will be the communication. Talk to the team, understanding what are their pain points. Is there something lacking as part of the delivery or is it something personal. If it is related to delivery, get a feedback on your current work and also suggestions on how they feel it can be done better.
In the end, bring all the input together can try work to incorporate it in your current work.Take an informal view as well and try understand what they expect from you.
You must examine yourself to know the reasons why you are not being treated fairly well as you might not be doing well in terms of showing good qualities required from you such as : effective communications, leadership, solving problems and interpersonal skills among others.
you must ask your selef about the resons and what you can do to improve your skill of dealing with them
We need to ask ourselves is why the project management team does not treat well this project manager. The project management team should be a well ethical people and well qualified for their positions by having up to date project management certifications and training. So, they should treat well this project manager based on his work achievement and performance.

On other hand i must check myself fairly what if i'm not doing well what is my drawbacks or shortage in oneside or more and try to re- adjsut myself on it.
Team management is the one of the essential quality a project manager. if a project manager feels that the PM team is not farely treating to him, Then he must check himself in line with the team's expectations and correct self. A project manager must be very co-operative, clear in communications, sound knowledge in the task assigned to him and should have several problem solving ability. Attitude matters the most.
