How can i use modeling for creating pivot Table?

following are some tips please get a glance on it :

the first and most important step in data modeling is to define what you need the model to do.

then

  1. convert your data ranges to tables with proper name
  2. select a cell from the table and go to "PowerPivot" tab and choose add model.
  3. repeat previous step till you add all the tables you want to the model.
  4. you can then define the relations between tables from Power Pivot window
  5. then you can create the pivot table you want from your model.

Microsoft provide PowerQuery as another great tool build your data model.

this is just the basics.

You just need to arange raw data first. You may then select the data & use Pivot Table Option to design report to cater your requirements.
