Set a goal or objective, and create milestones of progress. In between, write down what you've learned along the way. In the end, you might not reach your objective exactly how you wanted, but lessons learned make everyone a better person.

- Understand the nature of your work, and why the company has put you in there.
- Not to postpone or delay any task.
- Time management and learning from your / others' mistakes.
- Understand the work cycle around you, at other departments (an advantage).
- Giving a priority for the critical issues while you are working (with keep treating all as priority)
- After doing above ! you will be able to work on avoiding the reasons which may cause a further problems (and that is an advance level of professionalism and prediction) which came because of the good awareness about the work track in your organization).

Focus your mind towards the work, be creative, do hard labour, try to learn always, listen to other and have respectful behaviors to other surely you can get the objectives of the work.
