Do you see any similarity with the English word "Techno" and the Arabic word "Taqnia"?

The word "Technia" was the result of Arabization to the English word "Technology". On another note, the English word itself isn't an ancient English word, but rather a derived word from The ancient languages of Greek and Rome. Later on, English got the word from the German word "Teknologie". English is not as ancient and you can feel free to expect most of their words to be derived from other languages such as Latin, Greek, Roman, or Arabic. Now back to the Arabic language, the Arabic Language Academy in Damascus have settled on the word "Tecqnia" to be the Arabic equivalent of the English word "Technology". Yet, the community used the English word itself more common. Not all countries agreed with the Arabic Language Academy thought.

Arabic language has got a lot of forieng words from the other languages, one of them is the word that you speak about, of course it has a lot of adventages and disadventages to the mother language but we use it.

I am sorry i am not expert of languages. So i would love to get knowledge by the answers given by experts.

Yes, where is the Arab mother languages and there are good examples are many, Tmam, .... and figures used are Arabic numerals originally

I found no Arabic origins for the word "Taqina".

Actually, it is – Taqina, a foreign word that has been suggested in the Arab Academy of Damascus, and adopted or (Arabicised) by the Arab League and several other countries, to mean "Technology", which is an applied science that studies various industries and crafts, in order to develop them for a so-called possible implementation.
