I think that decision making method is a technique to make a decision, whereas decision making process is a process which using decision making methodology for making the decisions.

A decision making process involves the decision making method. Without the process the method cannot be implemented or used. It is more likely the same.

Thank you for the question..

I believe there is a difference. Decision making can be done with or without the process. the decision process usually involves more than one person and it starts with defining the issue, analyzing it, evaluating the options and then making the decision. it is clear that going through the process brings better decisions.. but some circumstances requires a prompt decision, and there comes the quality of a good manager.

It is really a good question to distinguish between  the Decision process and Decision  making as :

Decision Process : It is involved all necessary procedures and steps taken to analyze and study a problem, matter or any issue to reach and set a final evaluation to adopt a decision and alternatives.

Decision Taking : It is a stage coming after receiving the results of the decision process to adopt and issue the decision as per the givings received from primary analysis and evaluation to go ahead forward in the execution process.
