HVAC Design
External Static Pressure is simply ESP. A Fan Air has to overcome the pressure loss due to duct friction, fitting loss, dampers loss and finally diffuser pressure loss. The sum of those pressure loss of a longest run should be limited with in the rated ESP of a HVAC Unit.
So It has nothing to do with Load Calculations, But ultimately in the Drafting only like how you distribute the air flow efficiently by selecting appropriate load Fan coil units and duct sizes.
ESP statnds for External Static Pressure. it is not required for load calculations, but necessary to calculate pump motorand fan capacities.
ITS NOT REQUIRED DURING THE LOAD CALCULATION
ESP means External Static Pressure. ESP defines the capacity of fan to be considered while selecting the unit. To find the value of considered ESP , we have to calculate the total pressure exerted on the system.
There is no role for ESP while doing load calculation.
ESP stands for Effective Static Pressure. ESP is not required in load calculations but is very critical while selecting the Air Conditioning Unit on the basis of flow as it is responsible for the reduced CFM and speed of the conditioned air.
Esp means electrical submersible pump
Yes its necessary to know the esp equipments HP and each pump stage how many can lift fluid to surface its depend in well integrity how many stages required to lift fluid to surface according to pumps we select motor capacity HP & Voltage with amps and by motor can determine cable size after calculated with the voltage drop
To be honest, I don't understand what it is at all. I was just advised to install an HVAC system, so I turned to a Heating and Cooling NJ company, and now my house is very comfortable. I can also regulate the temperature, which is very important to me. But thanks for the info. I think it wouldn't hurt to know about it.
